SSSC Trivia Night – This Friday, July 10th. Doors open at 6:00pm and “quizzing” starts at 6:30pm. There will be snacks.  Free and open to the public.
 
Scrabble Tournament – This Saturday, July 11th at 1:00 pm. Cost $5. Minimum two (2) tables required. Call or sign-up at the Centre!
 
Tech Help at The Centre - We are fortunate to have two students who have offered to hold one-on-one sessions in July and August with our Members.  Each date and time will accommodate 2 Members. You are asked to bring your device. The dates in July are:
- Tuesday, July 14 from 10:00 to 11:30
- Thursday, July 16 from 9:30 to 11:00
- Tuesday, July 21 from 10:00 to 11:30
- Thursday, July 23 from 9:30 to 11:00.
- Tuesday, July 28 from 10:00 to 11:30
- Thursday, July 30 from 9:30 to 11:00. 
If you are interested, please call the Centre (506-450-7849) to register. First come, first served. 
 
Movie Matinee - Wednesday, July 15th at 1:30 pm. “Remarkably Bright Creatures” Through unlikely bonds formed during night shifts at a local aquarium, Tova, an elderly widow (Sally Fields), learns of a life-changing discovery that may bring her joy and wonder once again. 
 
Lunch around Freddy- Friday, July 17th at 11:30 am. Ivy’s Diner - 3696 NB-102, Island View. Please sign up by noon on July 16.
 
Upcoming Events:
 
Information Session - Brain Health Program – July 22nd at 1:30 pm.  Presented by Colleen Hanna. POSTPONED until the fall.
 
Garrison Market on Thursdays, July 23 and August 27. We will be handing out brochures and other information as well as selling jam and biscuits. Members, we can use volunteers to staff the table and don’t forget to drop by if you attend. 
                                                                           
 
Social Event - July 29th, @ 11:30 am.  
Brown Bag Lunch (beverage provided). 
Featuring Silverstones and S.S. Writers Group (Short Stories).
 
 
Community Health:
 
Our Board of Directors asks you to please use the hand sanitizer available on entering the Centre.  Masks are available. If you are able to, please assist with the sanitizing of chairs and equipment used in your program. Together, let’s work to keep you and our Centre community healthy.

The Wagon Outreach thanks the members of Stepping Stone Senior Centre for their donations in the month of June. This effort will continue throughout July and August. Suggested donation items are listed on the box. 
 
Members!  Rent the Centre for you family celebrations and pay 50% of the rental fee!
