This breakfast is sponsored by two members in honor of all Mothers. Forum – Wednesday, May 7th at 3pm - Recreation NB (rescheduled from last week). Topic is the Senior Summer Games taking place June 19-21. Volunteer Appreciation Gathering – Wednesday, May 7th at 3:00 pm. If you volunteer with the Centre, you’re invited. There will be tea and coffee and some light snacks and a bit of entertainment as a surprise. Victoria Day Social: the Centre will be holding a High Tea on Wednesday, May 14th at 3:00 pm. The cost will be $5 and those wishing to attend must sign up before Monday, May 12 at 4:00 pm. Members’ Survey - At the 2025 Annual General Meeting for the Centre the membership was unanimous in its decision to commit to planning for future work at the Centre. It is important that all members’ voices be heard in the planning. Please complete the Survey that is being circulated and return it via email or drop it off at the Centre. There is a mail slot at the front door so you can drop it off anytime. Hard copies available at the Centre. Deadline is Friday, May 23rd. The Centre’s musical groups will entertain at the Cultural Centre, 28 Saunders St. Enjoy an afternoon and music and singing! By donation. Scrabble Tournament – Saturday, May 24th at 1:30 pm. Cost $5. Sign up at the Centre. Yard Sale – Saturday, May 31st! We’re accepting donations and booking tables! Tables for members are $10, non-members $20. If you can hang onto to your donations until Friday, May 30th we would appreciate it. Community Community Notifications & Alerts! The City is expanding the program to include updates from the Police: major bridge closures and public safety issues like lockdowns and shelter-in-place orders. FREE! UNB Research – Seeking 60+ adults who are cognitively healthy, have mild cognitive impairment, or mild Alzheimer’s. There will be 2-3 sessions of 3 hours each. You will be paid $15/hour + $20/session for transportation.
