American Mahjongg Social – Saturday, December 7th, 1:00 pm. Calling all amateur photographers! We are looking for volunteers to take pictures and videos of activities and board members to upload our website. We have a brand new camera thanks to a grant from GC Horizons for Seniors Program. If you think you would enjoy being involved with this project, let our Coordinator, Krista, know. Don’t Miss Out! December Breakfast- Saturday, Dec. 7, 8:00 to 11:00am. The “Rudy Stocek Memorial Breakfast” sponsored by the Stocek Family. Rudy was an active member of the Centre, served on the Centre’s Board of Directors and a great friend to many at the Centre as well as in the Craft and Bake Sale -Being held on Saturday, December 14 at the Centre from 8:00 to noon. Tables are available for rent at a cost of $10 for members and $20 for non- members. Please call 506-450-7849 to book. The Centre graciously accepts donations of both crafts and baked goods, like a dozen of your favourite cookies or a sweet bread. Gently used Christmas decorations being passed on to someone else is great this time of year. Rest assured we will have a table of jams thanks to Grant Good and perhaps biscuits as well. Hope you will support this fund raising event. Gift Certificates-Gift Idea for the Senior in Your Life. The Stepping Stone Senior Centre(providing activities for the 50+)has membership gift certificates available for 2025. The cost is $25. These are available at the Centre. Drop by and check an item off your list. Save the date: Feed-a-Family Concert - This event, in support for our Community Food Banks, will take place on Sunday, December 15 at the Intercultural Centre starting at 2:00 pm. There will be performances by 6 of the Centre’s Musical Programs. Admission is by donation for this very worthy cause. Last year, we raised $1,000. As a member, you are encouraged to give us feedback and suggest programs and activities as well as fundraisers. Put it in writing and leave it with the volunteer at the front desk. We thank you!
