Movie -  Tuesday, Sept 2nd at 2:00pm “The Thursday Murder Club.” Four retirees spend their time solving cold case murders for fun, but their casual sleuthing takes a thrilling turn when they find themselves with a real whodunit on their hands.
 
New Programs - Starting the week of the 8th.  Sign up by calling or coming in the Centre
 
Absolute Beginner Line Dancing – Mondays at 11:45 am Come learn all about line dancing!  Cost is $5 per session  
 
Harmonica + - Fridays at 1:00 pm - Not a class for beginners. Harmonicas need to be in the Key of C.

Beginning Harmonica Lesson- Friday at 2:30pm- Harmonicas need to be in the Key of C.
  
Returning Programs - Starting the week of the 8th  
 
Intermediate Guitar – Mondays at 2:00 pm -  Cost is $10 per session.
 
Beginner Guitar – Mondays at 3:15 pm -  Cost is $10 per session.
 
Adaptive Yoga- Tuesdays at 2:00pm- Sept 9th will be a free demo. Classes start Sept 16. Cost to be determined.

Breakfast- Saturday Sept 6th from 8-11am. Cost is $10. Everyone is welcome
 
Scrabble- Saturday Sept 13th Starting at 1pm. Cost is $5. Need 2 tables to run.
 
From our Suggestion Box we retrieved the following:
Can you indicate on the schedule which programs are free and which have a weekly cost.  Also indicate which are on-going and which can be joined anytime.  Answer: On the handout of our Programs & Activities we list whether there is a fee or not.  If there is a fee, call or email the Centre for the amount.  Fees change often and it would require reprinting the handout often.  It’s quite the job to keep up with the specifics for about 35 programs.  
I’d like to play Chinese Mahjongg.  Answer: We do not have a Facilitator. If anyone knows of someone who would be willing to teach/lead this program, we would love to chat and see what we can offer.  
 
Winner of the Free Membership from among the 221 who completed the Members’ Survey that was circulated earlier this summer is Marilyne Chiasson.  Congratulations!

Greener Village- Monday September 1st No Bread Making
 
Fall Train Ride – Friday, October 3rd.  Are you interested in carpooling from Fredericton to McAdam Railway Station for 11:00 am? `Once at the Station, you’ll embark on a scenic train ride to St. Stephen for a roast beef dinner and back to McAdam for 6:00 pm. If you are planning on going and you are willing to take others with you, sign up at the Centre. For information about the Fall Train Ride, Contact [email protected] or call 506-784-3101.
 
Letter to Loved Ones Ceremony – M. Joyce Perry Memorial Garden (outside the chapel at McAdam’s Funeral Home, 160 York St.) – Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 7:00 pm.  Following the ceremony there will light refreshments and remembrances.  For info: 506-458-9170.
