Community News: Covid-19 update The Province of NB report for the period October 27 and November 4 recorded that another four individuals age 65+ and 1 in the 45-64 age group have died. There were 28 hospitalizations and 9 outbreaks; 1 in a nursing home and 8 undisclosed. It is noted that the Province data is only collected in hospitals. The NB Medical Society posted on November 12 that case counts are rising and recommends all those over the age of 6 months get the latest vaccine. Canada Dental Plan- Take note. “I had my first experience with my new dental registration card just this week. The dental appointment was for a cleaning. It was the Dental Hygienist who asked me right up front if I was registered. The cost of the visit was $140 and I only had to pay $7. Just be aware that billing costs differ among Dentists. If you do not have coverage or have not applied for coverage, I would suggest you do so. If you are presently enrolled in a Plan, do not give it up.” Madeleine Speaker Series- Join us this November 2024 for Housing Month, where we tackle critical issues surrounding affordable housing through a series of three FREE hybrid (Zoom & Fredericton Library Boardroom) events, available both in-person and online.
