Cryptic Crosswords Lite - clue: Gateway to mile-high adventure – raw material for coffee and chat! (9 letters, B _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ) Hint: A fairy-tale gateway to a lofty adventure! Simply join “raw material for coffee” with a common word for “chat.” *Answer at the bottom of the next page. (Last week’s solution: voyage.) Come and learn step-by-step clue-solving skills at Cryptic Crosswords Lite, Tuesdays 1:00-3:00 pm, ongoing until August 27.
Lemonade Picnic - Thursday, July 4th 11am-1pm. Join us in the park for some refreshing lemonade, games, and conversation. Bring your lunch! Rain or shine.
 
Jigsaw Puzzlers - Thursdays, July 4th to 18th 2:00pm. Join in as we complete a jigsaw puzzle as a group!
 
Bird Feeders Craft - Friday, July 5th at 1:00pm. Make-it-yourself bird feeders out of recycled bottles! No cost.  Please bring a 500 ml plastic bottle. Other materials will be provided.
 
Breakfast - Saturday, July 6th from 8-11am. July’s Breakfast is sponsored by Parkland Retirement Living Fredericton. Cost $10 for a full, hot breakfast!!  At the breakfast on June 1st, the 50/50 pot climbed to $151, and the winner was Sharon.

Salsa Dance Lessons - Free Demo Wednesday July 10th at 6:00pm. Come and try it out.  Regular classes starting July 17th to Aug 14th. Cost $5 per class. No experience or partner needed. Wear sneakers. Sign up is required.

Lunch Around Freddy- Wednesday July 17th at 11:30 am-  Ivy’s Diner- 3696 NB-102 Island View. Sign up at the Centre. If you are interested in carpooling, please indicate and include your phone number. We will work to match drives up.

The New Brunswick Financial and Consumer Services Commission is offering a free online course for seniors looking to better protect themselves and others against financial scams and abuse. This is a self-guided e-course that takes roughly an hour to complete. Note: July 17th at 1:30 FCNB will be presenting a Forum at the Centre.
