News! News! News!

The Stepping Stone Senior Centre was recently selected
by the NB Medical Society to receive a 2025 District
Community Fund Award. This is an annual initiative
where NBMS allocates $2,000 to each of the ten medical
districts to promote and support community programs and
projects. In 2024, the Health Policy and Promotion
Committee selected “Healthy and Active Seniors” as the
overarching theme. A list of organizations aligning with
this theme was provided to each of the medical districts
and the Stepping Stone Senior Centre received the most
votes from the members of the Capitol Region District
Medical Society. They believed that the Centres efforts
aligned perfectly with their goal of fostering a safer and
healthier community.
