Mondays at 2:00 pm, September to June. This course is designed to teach beginner guitar students the basics of guitar: the component parts such as frets, basic guitar and music theory (including keys, notes and chords), transitioning from chord to chord, and performing a number of songs. The songs are chosen to help students to strum the guitar and recognize when to change chords during the song. Students can suggest songs to learn, and asking questions is encouraged! Please bring your own guitar. Cost - $10 dollars per class. |
