Alternate Wednesdays from 10 am, October to May. This is a study and discussion group for seniors. They meet every other week for 2 hours to explore the big ideas of world civilization as found in literature, mythology, history, and music. Topics are chosen that challenge the mind, but they also laugh and have fun while sharing viewpoints and stretch minds. No cost. |

Mondays at 1:30 pm, year round (In person from April to November, and on Zoom from December to March). This is a group of writers working in many genres, poetry, short stories, memoirs and more. They share what they have written and act as editors, advisers, and as a support group for each other. New members are always welcome. No cost. |
Speakers from the community are invited to present on topics of interest to seniors. This is an opportunity for members to keep informed on services, expertise, products, and events that are available in their community and how to access them.
Given that Fredericton is home to two universities, there have been presenters who are searching to make contact with seniors for the purpose of participating in research, the results being focused on healthy living. We are continuously reaching out for new contacts. Open to the public - free of charge. |
HOURS
9:00 am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday Storm policy: When the schools are closed in the Fredericton region (Zone 6) due to weather and road conditions, the Centre is closed for the day. |
