Membership

The Stepping Stone Senior Centre is an Award-winning Activity Centre for the 50+ population of the Greater Fredericton Area. Members are the engine that drives the Centre, and volunteers are the fuel that makes it all happen. 
​A membership is valid from January 1st to December 31st. It gives members access to many programs and activities at no cost or a low fee, if applicable. By email, you'll receive a Monthly Calendar listing the activities and programs available that month and a Weekly Update indicating the highlights of the week ahead - events coming up and community notices of interest. Members can vote at the Annual General Meeting. 
Stepping Stone Senior Centre is a gathering place to play, learn, and socialize! We encourage you to come and join us.
Benefits of SSSC Membership:
The benefits to the Members of the Centre are many and varied.
-Physical Health: Fitness Programs for a variety of levels, Health Information sessions, vaccination clinics, and outdoor activities. 
-Mental Health: Programs enhancing cognitive abilities, counteracting social isolation and loneliness through social connections, and stress management through engagement. Social programs provide opportunities for members to meet new people and connect with friends from the past.
-Education & Skill Development:  Access to new information through the Centre's collaborations with state-of-the-art research from UNB  and STU, access to technological support and tax preparation, and volunteering.
-Cultural Enrichment: Musical and visual arts programs in a variety of genres, craft programs that expose the members to new ideas, and dance classes from a range of cultures.
