January 2024 Your Board of Directors continues to monitor on a regular basis the statistics from the Department of Health. At the present time, we are faced with exposure to Covid, Influenza, and Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV). It is therefore imperative that we continue to follow our Protocol and not let up. The Protocol: -Masks are optional and respected. - Hands are to be sanitized on entering the building. - All furniture and equipment used in a Program must be sanitized after use. Participants are encouraged to assist with the sanitizing. - When not feeling well, even if you have not tested positive, do not come to the Centre until you are feeling well. This Protocol remains in effect until further notice. Thank you for your respect and adherence. As a community, we will continue to focus on our own safety and the safety of all who enjoy the Centre. Forum- Wednesday, February 7th at 3:00pm- Aging and Mental Health- Presented by Emily Creamer, Social Worker with Addictions and Mental Health, Fredericton, and will provide information on: - Mental Health Services in Fredericton - Make-up of the Senior Team - How to access services and the location for services. - Overview of how thoughts, feelings, healthy habits, relationships, interests, and goals relate to mental health and aging well. - There will be handouts available. In Other News: Food Bank Basket- We have a basket in the front lobby for any donations you may wish to bring in anytime. The contents will be delivered to the Food Bank as the basket is filled. 1st Saturday of Every Month! Breakfast from 8:00 – 11:00 am. Next one on February 3rd.
