Stepping Stone Senior Centre Without Walls: Tuesday, May 7th at 2:30 to 3:15. We are going to celebrate Asian Heritage month together! We’ll be joining an Asian Art Museum Curator as they showcase favourite objects, uncover hidden histories, and provide insight into Millenia of craft and creativity to reveal the stories behind the art. Presenter is Sylvia Cummings from Service Canada. This is the follow-up information session that we requested when the Federal Minister made his presentation on March 8th. Help With Technology – Fridays, May 17, 24, and 31 from 10:00am to Noon. Free! Students from NB Community College are once again offering to assist with your technology concerns. The May 17th class is full. Please call the centre to register. Your name will be added to the list, and you will be called to confirm. Saturday, May 18, Yard / Bake Sale- 8:00 to noon- Rain or Shine at the Centre. If you’d like a table to sell your own goods, please call the Centre to arrange. If you’d like to donate baked goods or your spring-cleaning treasures, you can bring them to the Centre on Friday, May 17th. Community News The City’s High Priority Disaster Response Registry aims to help vulnerable residents who live alone or don’t have family nearby. In the event of an emergency, a trained professional will check on a resident listed in our registry by phone or in-person.
