Forum on Wednesday- Nov 1st -3:30pm TNB Outreach Director Sharisse LeBrun returns with a follow up to the October Forum. If you missed it in October, don’t miss part 2. Monthly Fundraising Breakfast- Saturday November 4h 8:00- 11:00. $10.00 Family and friends are welcome! Movie Matinee- Thursday, Nov. 9th at 2:00 pm. In honour of Remembrance Day, we will be showing “Charlie Wilson’s War. No charge! Christmas at McAdam Station - This excursion is through Pam Noble Tours on December 4, 2023. Cost per person is $130.00 including all taxes and gratuities. Includes a delicious turkey dinner, entertainment during the meal by the “Station Folks”, music by Bob Johnson, and ending with a Christmas sing-along. Pick up at 4:00pm from the Frex parking lot. Time is running short. If you are planning to gift yourself this magical experience, come in to the Centre and sign- up to ensure you have a seat. You need to register and pay by November 10th Stepping Stone Singers- The group is gearing up for the winter season and Christmas performances. We welcome all singers but are especially needing some additional male voices. Rehearsals are Thursday morning 9:30 to 11:30 am. Friends of The Stepping Stone Senior Centre – The Centre’s annual appeal for financial support continues until the end of December. Income-tax deductible receipts available for any donation over $10. Community News Spread the word 211 is the number to call when you don’t know where to turn. This is a 24/7 service provided by United Way across the Canada. You will find help, information and support from an actual human being. It’s free and confidential. You can be served in any of 170 languages!. Remembrance Day War Time Menu Luncheon On Saturday November 11 from noon to 1:30, Forest Hill United Church will be serving a luncheon with a war time menu of Baked Beans, Brown Bread and War Cake, Tea, Coffee or Juice. Eat in or Take-out. Libby and Brian Cassidy will be playing appropriate music during the meal. Adults are $12.00 and children $6.00. To order your meals as take out or eat in, please sign up before November 5 at either church entrance, or leave a message at the church office 506-455-0988 or [email protected].
